This is a Live-In or Live-Out Position

Location: Rye, NY

Days: Mon - Sat (Monday to Friday with some Saturdays)

Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Mon-Wed from 7 am-7pm. Thursday 10 am - 7 pm and Friday 12-5 and Saturday a few hours )

Compensation: $30 to $40 per hour, W2

A Rye, NY family is seeking a dependable nanny/housekeeper to provide attentive childcare and maintain a clean, organized home. The ideal candidate is warm, reliable, and able to balance childcare responsibilities with daily housekeeping tasks. This role requires strong multitasking skills, good judgment, and a proactive approach to supporting a busy household.

Main Work Duties: 

• Care for the 6-month-old during the day, including feeding, diapering, naps, playtime, and age-appropriate developmental activities.
• Assist with the twins’ when they return from school.
• Maintain daily household cleanliness and organization in between the cleaner’s visits.
• Handle all family laundry, including washing, folding, ironing, and putting away clothing and linens.
• Keep children’s rooms, play areas, living spaces, and the kitchen tidy throughout the day.
• Load and unload the dishwasher, wipe counters, manage trash, and maintain overall household order.
• Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children; assist with family meal prep sometimes.
• Restock household and children’s supplies (diapers, wipes, formula, snacks, cleaning products).
• Make beds, change linens, and refresh bathrooms as needed.
• Keep toys, closets, and common spaces organized and clutter-free.
• Assist the twins with afternoon routines—snacks, activities, light homework support, baths, and evening structure.
• Communicate daily updates to parents regarding schedules, routines, and any household or childcare needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ solid years experience has a nanny/housekeeper.
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions precisely.
• Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
• Must drive.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
