Job Description.

Seeking a hands-on, tactical SAP S/4 HANA Project Manager with 8-10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2-3 full-cycle SAP S/4 HANA implementations.

Strong background in manufacturing and/or supply chain; prior experience in medical devices, high-tech, healthcare, or manufacturing sectors is highly preferred.

This is a business-side project management role, not IT-focused, requiring close collaboration with business leads and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate should have functional experience-especially in manufacturing modules-as that will be the initial focus (first 2-3 months) of the project.

Must possess a balance of technical and non-technical skills: deep domain knowledge, SAP implementation methodology, excellent communication (verbal/written), stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.

Willing to consider strong functional analysts who have moved into project management, provided they show energy, interest, and relevant SAP S/4 HANA experience.

Job Description

We are seeking a strong "hands-on" SAP S/4 HANA project manager (business) to deliver large scale complex S/4 HANA project with a focus on Manufacturing and Supply Chain business transformation. The ideal candidate would have min 2-3 SAP S/4 HANA full implementation experience with a proven track of managing and coordinating, proficiency in the full implementation life cycle with excellent communication and cross-functional team skills. This role will work closely with master data, engineering, supply chain planning, manufacturing, product quality, warehouse and finance, CoE, IT and Analytics teams to implement S/4 HANA functionalities, process, data and reporting solutions, through requirements, design, testing, training, cutover, hypercare and deployment needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of large-scale complex SAP S/4HANA project from planning to go-live and post-implementation support on-time, in-scope in a fast-paced environment

Develop project plans, manage scope and timelines, and ensure deliverables in line with the project plan and quality

Coordinate, schedule and lead user requirement reviews, design reviews / workshops, user acceptance testing (UAT), business cut over planning and activities, go-live, hyper care and war rooms post go-live.

Apply manufacturing and supply chain domain knowledge and experience while working with teams, stakeholders to understand issues, open items, root cause and to drive them to closure on a timely basis.

Work with PMO to monitor and report project progress, milestones, risks, track metrics/KPIs, and communicate regular status updates to stakeholders, adapting plans as necessary to ensure successful outcomes

Work with change management team on communication plan, training plan, content development and training delivery to business users

Work closely with CoE, IT, Analytics and cross functional teams throughout the project lifecycles and manage smaller enhancement projects

Assist PMO with core team and executive steering committee meetings incl., status reports to the project leadership and steering committee

Apply SAP S4 HANA implementation best practices and methodologies of project management, continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

Requirements:

BA/BS in technical or Manufacturing or Supply Chain relevant fields

8+ years of relevant experience as a business project manager / business analyst / functional consultant with technology enabled project delivery experience

Min 2-3 full SAP S/4 HANA implementation experience. Prior experience in Agile, MES, Planning applications is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency with use of tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Zoom, PowerPoint, Excel
