Job Description

Salesforce Administrator and Database Manager

As the Salesforce Administrator / Database Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing data quality across the firm's CRM platform, managing SQL-based data workflows, and generating insights that support strategic decisions. You will serve as the central point of coordination between investment, engineering, underwriting, and operations teams.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Managing inbound data, from aggregation and formatting to final Salesforce upload
  • Ensuring accuracy of attributes and pricing before activation
  • Maintaining data integrity across custom Salesforce objects
  • Reconciling discrepancies in coordination with internal teams
  • Running Data Loader imports, replacements, and quality control checks
  • Documenting and refining processes to ensure repeatability and compliance
  • Collaborating with engineering and IT on backend optimizations
  • Producing periodic reporting on data health and conversion metrics
  • Assisting in user training and onboarding
  • Designing and managing SQL infrastructure

Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
  • 3 5 years of Salesforce or CRM data operations experience (energy, royalties, or private equity preferred)
  • 3 5 years of SQL database and data science experience
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce, Data Loader, Excel, and reconciliation tools
  • Proficiency in Python scripting and automation
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high data accuracy in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical skills, organization, and attention to detail

Why You Should Join:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a data-focused professional who wants to make a visible and meaningful impact. You will not be one of hundreds in a large corporate structure-you will be a key contributor in a lean, analytical, and execution-oriented environment where your work directly influences investment decisions and portfolio outcomes.

You'll thrive here if you want:

  • A role with real ownership and influence
  • The ability to work cross-functionally and build a deep understanding of the investment lifecycle
  • A fast-paced environment where high standards and precision are valued
  • A team that embraces accountability, collaboration, and smart decision-making
  • Exposure to the private equity, energy, and royalty investment space
  • The opportunity to grow your technical, analytical, and strategic capabilities

This is an excellent fit for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges and wants to grow within a firm that rewards initiative and long-term commitment.

Benefits & Perks:

  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications
  • Company 401(k)
  • Health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance
  • Paid time off: 4 weeks plus 9 company holidays
  • Dependent care FSA
