Position Summary:

The Cardiovascular Lab Manager works closely with the department director. This position oversees the day-to-day operations of both the invasive and non-invasive Cardiology Departments including Cardiovascular Cath Lab, Cardiology Clinic, Interventional Radiology, EKG, and Cath Lab holding. Manager oversees daily inventory and procurement, billing and coding, and assisting in cases as an expert when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System 

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing

• Current CA RN License

• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
• Recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab clinical care.
• Knowledge of the management aspects of the units of supervision and progressive experience in management of Cardiology and/or Radiology services preferred.
