Location: Detroit, MI

Schedule :

(2) Day & (1) Night Shift– 3 Positions Available

• Hours: 6:30am – 7pm or 6:30p-7a

• Weekends/Holidays: Every other weekend and holiday

Pay Rate: $48/hour

Overview

The Respiratory Therapist provides life-support, resuscitation, and various medical gas therapies to patients across Adult ICU and Neonatal ICU. This role includes performing invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures, maintaining clinical expertise across assigned units, and ensuring all patient care is accurately documented.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver life-support, monitoring, and respiratory treatments per physician orders.

• Perform both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures.

• Provide care to patients in the ICU.

• Accurately document all aspects of patient care and complete billing information.

• Supervise and guide respiratory therapists, orientees, externs, and students as assigned.

• Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, and multidisciplinary care teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Current Michigan Respiratory Therapist License

• Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)

• Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience

• Associate of Science Degree in Respiratory Therapy or Bachelor’s Degree required

• BLS certification (AHA required)

• Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care

• Experience in a Trauma Level II facility
