Position Overview:
As a Part-Time Evening Nail Technician Instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your passion for nail care and artistry with aspiring professionals in the field. You will be responsible for teaching students the latest techniques in nail technology, ensuring they gain the skills necessary for a successful career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lesson plans focused on nail techniques, health, and safety practices.
• Demonstrate nail care procedures, including manicures, pedicures, and nail art.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages learning.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into the curriculum.
• Participate in school events and activities related to the nail technology program.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Illinois Nail Technician License.
• Prior experience in the nail care industry is preferred.
• Teaching experience or a passion for mentoring students is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality education and support to students.
• Monday through Friday 5:00-10:00pm EST

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $22.00 and $24.00/hr. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
