Our office is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or psychiatrist in order to supplement increased demand for outpatient management in the area. Our practice was formed over 30 years ago and has benefited from steady referrals from the surrounding communities. We are seeking a psychiatric provider to join our interdisciplinary group of clinicians, which currently include psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, psychologists, and social workers, as well as experienced support staff. Our office is one of the few in the region offering therapy, med management, psychologist testing, supervision, and intern programs in the region.
Flexible work hours and potential supervision are available, depending on the needs of the applicant. We are hoping to find a full-time clinician to join our practice, though some part-time clinicians may be an appropriate fit for our organization. Fully autonomous clinicians are preferred, though supervision in order to help an employee achieve fully autonomous prescribing capacity may be available depending on the applicant.
Attending clinicians are responsible for managing outpatient psychiatric care of various clients. Collaboration with other treatment providers is also strongly encouraged. Psychological testing is offered on-site to assist with evaluation of ADHD, mood presentations, and personality disorders.
We have an intuitive electronic medical record system that allows providers flexibility to work from home in some circumstances, as well as to see patients virtually from the office.
