The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND .

Your Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Student for the Innovation and Strategy team within the John Deere Enterprise Technical Information Development (ETID)located in Waterloo, IA , you will...

• Enhance team communication, streamline onboarding, and support operational excellence across our projects. You will play a key role in shaping how we work, connect, and grow together. 
• Lead the monthly innovation lounge meeting that fosters continuous learning, cross-functional collaboration, and forward-thinking growth across the organization.
• Maintain and improve the onboarding process for new employees in ETID
• Redefine and restructure the organization's SharePoint site for better usability
• Develop the Innovation newsletter focused on project progress, upskilling, and recognition
• Collaborate with stakeholders to organize the monthly Innovation sprint review meetings

What Skills You Need

• Ideally pursuing a degree in communications, marketing, business (Others may apply)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated growth mindset and ability to build relationships and influence without authority
• Strong time management, organization, and planning skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools
• Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college/university
• Graduation date of December 2026 or later
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Available to work 16–20 hours/week during the academic year
• Available to work 35–40 hours/week during the summer semester
• Must be able to commute to Waterloo, IA on a regular basis
