**Job Title: Part-Time Maintenance Assistant**
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the maintenance department in ensuring that our facilities remain safe, clean, and fully operational. This role is perfect for someone who is proactive, enjoys varied tasks, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and order.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting and repairing equipment, fixtures, and minor structural issues.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain a high appearance standard throughout the facility.
- Support the maintenance team in managing inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is in good working condition.
- Respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure safety and compliance with organizational protocols.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment for events and activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or supplies needed to the supervisor.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work.
- Ability to operate hand tools and light machinery safely.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds as needed.
**Working Conditions:**
