Office and Project Assistant

Turners Falls, MA | Full-Time, In-Office | Monday – Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.

The Center for Responsive Schools (CRS) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office and Project Assistant to support the daily operations and project implementation efforts of our Professional Learning department. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our mission-driven work, supporting educators and schools across the country.

What You'll Do:

Working closely with the Chief of Professional Learning and other department leaders, you'll play a key role in keeping projects on track, ensuring timely communication, and supporting the smooth operation of department activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing daily administrative support including scheduling, correspondence, document preparation, and filing (digital and physical).

  • Supporting project execution from beginning to end, including database management, tracking forms, and stakeholder communication.

  • Assisting with logistics for meetings and department events, including set-up, materials management, and follow-up.

  • Drafting and editing clear, professional communications for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and follow-through.

What You'll Bring:

  • High School diploma required; associate's degree or some college preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and comfort learning new software (Salesforce, DocuSign, HubSpot, etc.).

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (for occasional errands).

  • A positive, professional, and collaborative disposition.

Additional Requirements:

  • Regular, in-person attendance at our Turners Falls, MA office is required.

  • Ability to sit or talk on the phone for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally, and travel occasionally.

  • Occasional weekend work may be required to support special projects or events.
