RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to assemble tubes by hand with or without the use of fixtures
- Must repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
- Must be able to maintain welding equipment
- Must be able to perform finish grinding applications using manual and power tools
- Must set fixture and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) as required
- Must have knowledge of wire and filler materials and gases applicable for various steel alloys
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of Welder experience
- Must be a certified welder.
- Must be proficient in assigned MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Must have knowledge of wire and filler materials and gases applicable for various alloys, working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.).
- Must have the ability to read blueprints, especially weld requirement symbols.
