Description We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Clinic Coordinator to join a neurosurgeon's office in Encino, California. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced medical environment, ensuring smooth clinic operations and excellent patient care. Responsibilities: - Schedule patient appointments, follow-ups, and procedures to optimize clinic workflow. - Act as the primary communication link between patients, the neurosurgeon, and other healthcare providers. - Maintain confidential and accurate patient records in accordance with medical guidelines. - Verify insurance coverage, assist with authorizations, and address billing inquiries. - Oversee clinic operations, including managing supplies, preparing exam rooms, and updating the provider's daily calendar. - Provide administrative support to the neurosurgery team as needed. - Handle multi-line phone systems to coordinate patient inquiries and appointments. - Ensure exceptional patient service and address concerns with professionalism and empathy. Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in administrative or medical office roles, ideally in a specialty clinic. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care. - Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes is preferred. - Ability to manage sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism. - Experience in handling multi-line phone systems and providing concierge-style customer service.
