LPN Supervisor in Assisted Living

Full Time & Part Time | Days, Evenings & Nights

Pay rate between $27 and $33/hour  (Based on experience & including shift differentials)

What will I do as an LPN Supervisor?

• Administer medications (when needed)
• Communicate with doctors and family members
• Directly supervise employees including provide direction, f acilitate communication between shifts, and a ssign caregiving duties
• Demonstrate awareness of and sensitivity to the needs of residents and their families
• Provide daily assessment of "at risk" residents to ensure health needs are being met
• Assist the Resident Care Director with ensuring that all medications are being administered per company and state policies
• Provide training and support to Resident Care Assistants to ensure that they are properly administering medications
• QA at the direction of the Resident Care Director of the MAR, storage, and supply of medication to ensure compliance
• Personally observe administration of medications to ensure compliance
• Establish and maintain a healthy working relationship with PCP, specialists, and other medical providers
• Communicate with all departments about changes in residents and medical needs
• Provide assistance with coverage in extreme situations
• Assist with ensuring Medication Assistants and Resident Care Assistants are knowledgeable of current company and state policies pertinent to their jobs
• Assist with resident admission, transfer, and discharge as needed

What is required in this LPN position?

• A valid and current LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Maintain CPR certification
