Licensed Professional Counselor/LPA/LMFT 

MUST HOLD A LICENSE TO PRACTICE INDEPENDENTLY, NO INTERNS. 

Location: HV Mental Health and Wellness Center: 2300 Highland Village Rd, Suite 210, Highland Village, TX 75077

Job Position: 

• Licensed Professional Counselor, Psych Associate, /PLP/Post-doc fellow. (Full Time Position).
• Will consider part-time on an hourly basis for the right candidate. 

Job Details:

• Job Type: Full-time/part-time.
• Work Remotely: In clinic, but a few remote sessions are fine.

Qualifications:

• LPC license in Texas.
• LMFT- Licensed clinician or LPA.
• Relevant state license and board certification.
• Experience working as a psychologist or LPC.
• Strong listening, observation, and communication skills.
• Licensed independent practice clinician in mental health.
• Experience across the age span is preferred.
• Experience with EMDR is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Individual, group, and family counseling.
• Will meet with individuals across the age span with varying diagnostic presentations.
• Work with a team of individuals in a private practice setting.
• Crisis intervention when needed.
• Clinical documentation.
• Animal-assisted therapy.
• Trauma-informed therapy.
• Forensic therapy for court-ordered individuals.

This is a faith-based practice. We are looking for an independent licensed counselor to join our team to provide counseling services to our patients across the age span.
