Job Summary:
The Lead Child Care Attendant is responsible for the effective daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 6 months to four years. This role serves as the primary point of contact for families, overseeing the check-in and reservation process, managing the front desk, and supporting administrative functions. In addition to providing direct care, this role leads and supports the childcare team, maintains regulatory compliance, and ensures a high standard of service and safety throughout the facility.

Job Responsibilities:
Lead the daily operations of the childcare center, including front desk management, guest check-in/check-out, and coordination of bookings and reservations
Deliver high-quality care for children ages six months to four years, attending to their personal needs including feeding, diapering, and rest time
Create and maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment that complies with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to childcare team members to ensure consistent care and service standards
Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, guardians, and coworkers regarding children’s routines, progress, and needs
Develop and facilitate age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, story time, indoor/outdoor play, and group games
Maintain accurate attendance and booking records and support administrative functions as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success and smooth operation of the childcare center
Job Requirements:
18 years of age or older – required
High school diploma or equivalent – required
1+ years of experience working with children – required
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently throughout the day, the position requires lifting and carrying children while playing or in the Day Care
The expected pay range is $22.00/hr - $24.23/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
