Job Title: IT Business Systems Analyst, Assoc (Junior Business Analyst)

Overview

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be a key contributor in analyzing current business practices to support the design and implementation of effective Information Technology (IT) solutions. Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Solution Design

• Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes and practices to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Requirements Gathering Support: Assist senior analysts in gathering, documenting, and prioritizing functional and non-functional requirements from various business stakeholders.
• Solution Focus: Help focus the design and implementation of IT solutions to ensure they directly meet defined customer needs and support strategic business initiatives.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise documentation, including process flows, use cases, and requirement specifications.

Collaboration & Support

• Teamwork: Collaborate on an ongoing basis with Programmer/Analysts and other IT team members to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure successful solution delivery.
• Stakeholder Communication: Participate in meetings with end-users and business leaders to facilitate understanding and alignment on proposed solutions.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Support system testing efforts, including developing test cases and performing user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure implemented solutions align with business requirements.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Analytical Aptitude: Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills .
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience and vice versa.
• Eagerness to Learn: A proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn business analysis methodologies, tools, and processes.

Preferred (Great to Have)

• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .
• Familiarity with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) or requirements management tools.
