Job Description

Summary

Cleaning and disinfecting children's daycare center after closing hours. Assure center is ready to open and welcome children the next morning.
Year-round program; Monday through Friday; 20 hours per week, 6:00p.m. to 10:00p.m.

Duties

Cleaning/disinfecting gets done after the center closes. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, taking out all garbage/recycling, sweeping and mopping floors and stairways and vacuuming rugs for the entire center, cleaning/disinfecting classroom and staff bathrooms (including toilets and sinks), cleaning/disinfecting classroom sinks, restocking toilet paper dispensers in all bathrooms (when needed), cleaning front glass doors, cleaning/disinfecting classroom doors’ doorknobs and observation windows, maintain janitorial closet clean and organized, maintain cleaning equipment, notify supervisor when supplies are low, lock-up center at the end of your shift and set alarm. Follow all Practices and Procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

One year cleaning experience in a children's daycare setting or early childhood program.

Nice To Haves

Handyman experience is a plus.
