JOB TITLE: Injection Molding Operator

LOCATION: Sparta, NJ

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Injection Molding Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring injection molding machines to produce high-quality molded components according to production schedules and quality standards. This role includes setting up equipment, inspecting products, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements.

• Set up, load, and operate injection molding machines to meet production goals.
• Troubleshoot machines and equipment as needed.
• Mix materials accurately.
• Read blueprints and diagrams to position and secure machinery.
• Adjust machine settings for temperature, pressure, volume, and timing.
• Perform first article inspections and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain part quality and production flow.
• Clean and maintain machines following safety protocols.
• Handle and package finished goods properly.
• Install molds using clamps, bolts, and hand tools per work orders.
• Follow safety protocols and report hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of injection molding machine operation experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Advanced decoupling skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Profax and P5M6K materials preferred.
• Good mechanical skills and understanding of control functions.

HOURS: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday, Direct hire.
