We’re seeking a dedicated and dependable Housekeeper to join our team! In this role, you’ll play a vital part in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable space for our residents, staff, and visitors. Reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Your Impact as a Housekeeper/Laundry Aide
In this role, you will:
* Clean Resident and Facility Areas: Scrub, mop, buff, polish, dust, and disinfect bathrooms, bedrooms, hallways, and common spaces
* Restock Supplies: Ensure paper products, soap, and other items are regularly replenished
* Foster a Welcoming Environment: Engage respectfully with residents, visitors, and staff daily
* Wash & Dry Laundry: Utilize both household and industrial laundry equipment to clean resident and facility linens and clothing.
* Fold & Organize Linens: Fold and stack linen neatly, ensuring proper storage and distribution.
* Deliver Clean Linens: Ensure linens and laundry are delivered promptly to resident rooms and facility areas.
* Maintain Cleanliness: Keep laundry areas and equipment clean and in good working condition.
* Handle Chemicals Safely: Use approved laundry detergents and chemicals according to safety guidelines.
* Assist Residents: Deliver clothing directly to residents' rooms and ensure items are handled with care.
