Job Description

Enlist as a Soldier into the United States Army and as a Civil Affairs Specialist (38B), you’ll be the link between the Army and local civilians around the world. You will identify what critical resources local citizens may need during missions or in crisis situations, fostering and maintaining dialogue with civilian aid agencies and civilian relief and assistance organizations. And you’ll be responsible for coordinating, conducting, and participating in the planning and production of civil affairs related documents. This is not a civilian contractor position.

No experience necessary. Position is entry level.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
  • 17 to 34 Years Old
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Meet Tattoo Guidelines
  • No Major Law Violations
  • No Medical Concerns

TESTING & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • 9 Nationally Recognized Certifications Available 
  • 10 weeks of Basic Training 
  • 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training 
  • 107 ASVAB Score: General Technical (GT)
