Job Description

• Create estimates for BMS (Building Management Systems).

• Estimate material, labor, and subcontractor costs for system applications per plans/specifications.

• Lead the estimation process for Building Management Systems (BMS), demonstrating proficiency in analyzing complex system requirements and translating them into accurate cost estimates.

• Evaluate material, labor, and subcontractor costs in accordance with project plans and specifications, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

• Undertake system layout and design responsibilities, applying your seasoned judgment to optimize system functionality and efficiency.

• Collaborate closely with Operations teams to validate estimates and ensure alignment with operational capabilities and constraints.

• Conduct thorough analysis of collected data and metrics, offering insights and recommendations to enhance estimation accuracy and efficiency.

• Proactively qualify new opportunities, demonstrating strategic foresight and market awareness to identify and pursue viable prospects.

• Prepare technically sound scope of work proposals, effectively articulating the value proposition and technical specifications to prospective clients.

• Participate in sales meetings and training seminars, leveraging your expertise to contribute valuable insights and support the professional development of team members.

• Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities and forecast opportunities, facilitating informed decision-making and resource allocation.

Requirements

• Demonstrate a strong attention to detail, ensuring the precision and reliability of estimates and proposals.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software tools, leveraging technology to streamline technical takeoff processes and enhance productivity.
• Possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
• Exhibit effective communication skills, fostering collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and customers.
• Ability to collaborate seamlessly with Sales Executives, providing technical expertise and support to drive successful sales outcomes.
• Previous experience in the building automation or electrical sector is preferred, reflecting a deep understanding of industry dynamics and requirements.

Salary Range: $45,000-$75,000 USD Annually. DOE
