Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Bilingual Caregiver to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in need, including the elderly, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a nurturing attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families in both English and [Second Language], ensuring understanding of care plans and needs.
• Help clients with mobility and physical activities, including exercises and walking assistance.
• Monitor and record clients’ health status, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping as needed.
• Respect clients’ privacy and dignity while providing care.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to continually improve caregiving skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving or healthcare preferred.
• Proven experience as a caregiver, personal support worker, or similar role.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and [Second Language] is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting clients.
