Bartender – ¡Salud! (Venice / Marina del Rey Area)

¡Salud! is a vibrant dual-concept hospitality concept - a specialty coffee shop by day and a high-energy cocktail destination by night - where every cup, plate and glass is an invitation to connect. Inspired by the Spanish word for “cheers,” we celebrate life’s moments through rich, handcrafted coffee, elevated cocktails and a menu rooted in community, culture and creativity.
We’re now seeking Bartenders to deliver excellent drinks, exceptional hospitality and to assist the Bar Director with cocktail research & development, prep and accountability.
Responsibilities: - Provide high quality service
- Mix and serve drinks following house recipes
- Take orders using Toast handheld and bartop POS
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team
- Carry out all tasks with attention to detail, cleanliness and safety
- Assist with inventory control, prepping syrups and batches
- Maintain standards for self and co-workers
- Food, wine and menu knowledge a must
- Must have open availability
- Some barista experience a plus
- Agave knowledge and technical prep skills a major plus
- Brunch shifts available but not required
Qualifications for Bartender
- 2 years of experience in a bar or similar environment
- Must be 21 years of age
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, agave and mixed cocktails
- Experience working at craft cocktail bars is a plus
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage stress with grace and to keep an upbeat attitude when busy
- Leadership qualities to help maintain standards across staff
