Audio Visual Sales Engineer (100% remote)

*DFW area preferred but not required

Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled   Audio Visual Sales Engineer   to provide design and sales support to Account Managers and ensure AV projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with industry standards. This role is essential in translating client needs into detailed technical designs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide sales team with accurate design support for bids and proposals.
  
• Ensure installation projects are designed within budgeted hours and deadlines.
  
• Maintain design accuracy, documentation, and system close-out deliverables.
  
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams throughout project lifecycles.
  
• Keep skills and certifications current with ongoing training and manufacturer courses.
  
• Attend trade shows and industry training to stay updated on technology.
  
• Utilize ACAD, proposal generation software, and workflow tools to produce system designs.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience designing or operating audio, video, and lighting systems.
  
• BS in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
  
• Experience with ACAD, Excel, Outlook, Word, and proposal generation tools.
  
• CTS, CTS-D, or manufacturer-specific certifications (completed or in progress).
  
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  
• Proven ability to complete projects within budget and deadlines.
  
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
  
• Willingness to travel (US only) and work evenings/weekends as required.
  
• Professional appearance and high attention to detail.
  

Compensation
