Job Description
Local manufacturing company seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join their production team, plays a role in the production process by assembling components using specialized fixtures, coils, and raw materials such as stainless-steel quadrants and springs.
Assembler Responsibilities:
- Perform manual assembly of fragile components with precision & care
- Follow detailed written instructions provided on production travel cards
- Maintain accurate records of raw materials lot numbers, production counts, assembly dates and other process-related data
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and report any issues to management
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the company's part numbering systems, product components and descriptions
- Work collaboratively with the production and engineering teams to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output
Assembler Qualifications:
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to handle fragile components
- Ability to follow written instruction and maintain accurate production records
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in assembly, manufacturing or related field preferred but not required
