About Aoka

Aoka is a third-party municipal services provider serving jurisdictions across Texas. We support local governments with expert building inspections, plan reviews, and code consulting—powered by our proprietary software that accelerates inspection turnaround times and helps prevent costly construction delays.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting

  • Experience in invoicing and payroll management

  • Proficient in accounting software, specifically QuickBooks

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger

  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, tax regulations, and company policies

  • Collaborate with leadership to track budgets, costs, and profitability for projects

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions

  • Negotiate with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders as needed

  • Confidently “push back” when necessary to ensure financial accuracy and compliance

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

  • Position Type: Remote with occasional travel to the Fort Worth office and client sites as needed.
